While many in the liberal media are pretending leftist author Michael Wolff’s new anti-Trump book is the unvarnished truth, many key individuals quoted in the hit piece are disavowing statements the book attributes to them.

Wolff’s book, titled, “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” was released Friday and has already lost all of its credibility.

But many of the claims liberals are obsessing over have already been proven to be utterly groundless, including one claiming that first lady Melania Trump cried tears of agony on election night when her husband, Donald Trump, defeated Hillary Clinton.

Wolff wrote that after 8 p.m. ET, when it became apparent that Trump was actually on track to win the election, “Melania was in tears — and not of joy.”

However, a writer with the New York Post’s Page Six who was with the Trumps on election night said such an erroneous claim couldn’t be further from the truth.

Cindy Adams wrote:

She was always supportive. She gave the race her imprimatur. Melania’s smart. Savvy. And sharper than whoever fed this author his dog bowl.

Adams explained that she wasn’t the only individual close to Melania that night, as many others have corroborated that she didn’t shed a single tear that night as the entire family and campaign were ecstatic they had won the presidency.

“None of us — not one of us — not a single one of us — recall Melania crying,” Adam wrote. “And we’ve phoned one another to confirm.”

Adams said had Melania been teary eyed that night, it would have been from “excitement or if her hairdresser was late.”

Many others have slammed Wolff for the error-ridden tabloid gossip that he published, with President Trump taking an ax to the book.

On Thursday, Trump tweeted that Wolff’s entire book was “full of lies, misrepresentations and sources that don’t exist.”

With many top individuals slamming the book as peddling falsehoods and being nothing but tabloid gossip, it’s obvious liberals will say and do anything to harm the White House.

Fortunately, the American people are seeing the truth and not falling for these lies.

And many love seeing the first lady coming out swinging against Wolff and his false claims.
