Conservative actor James Woods has been an outspoken critic of Democrats and their many misdeeds, where he uses his massive Twitter account to keep the attention on major issues.

But what happens when he uses his big platform to put that same pressure on President Donald Trump?

Earlier this week, Trump held a bipartisan meeting at the White House to discuss former President Barack Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, which provided blanket protection to roughly 800,000 children brought to the U.S. by their illegal parents.

The Trump administration announced in September it would be giving Congress six months to replace DACA with a legislative solution.

While nothing is concrete as both political sides are debating what will be included in the final bill, it will largely revolve around Democrats getting full protections for DACA recipients in exchange for ending the immigration lottery system, chain migration, and some funding for a border security measures.

Trump has made it clear there’s no DACA deal without funding for the border wall, and Democrats have said they don’t want to fund the wall.

Woods, and many others, are afraid Trump will make the deal and simply worry about the wall later, which would be a terrible idea. Woods said if that happens, Trump will lose his vote.

Additionally, Woods also tweeted that if Trump concedes on DACA without getting everything he wants in return, he will be a one-term president.

Again, Trump made it clear he wouldn’t accept any DACA deal without ending the immigration lottery system, chain migration, and getting upfront funding for the border wall.

Many agree with Woods and respect his opinion, which is why Media Equalizer’s Melanie Morgan created a viral petition to encourage the conservative actor to run for governor of California.

We will know in the coming weeks what happens with the DACA deal, as many hope Trump sticks to the promises he made to voters.
