With many across the mainstream media feigning over reports suggesting that President Donald Trump’s former National Security adviser Gen. Michael Flynn might be working with Special Counsel Robert Mueller, one prominent voice in the media predicted this would happen.

Nearly five months ago, conservative firebrand and radio host Mark Levin predicted that Mueller was fueled by a partisan agenda that would only end with Trump being hit the hardest.

On Friday, Flynn pled guilty to lying to the FBI about two discussions he had with Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak in December 2016.

Over the weekend, California Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein told reporters that the Senate Judiciary Committee’s investigation into alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election revealed a possible “obstruction of justice” case against Trump.

Feinstein’s remarks and the reports surrounding Flynn bring us back to a major prediction from Levin in June, where he said he believes Mueller intends to impeach Trump, not indict him.

“Mr. Mueller may be investigating individuals and so forth, but his purpose for being unleashed against the President of the United States is to make the case for impeachment, not indictment,” Levin said.

Levin said two key facts led him to arrive at this conclusion.

First, he said the Justice Department has made it clear it doesn’t believe it has the legal authority to indict a sitting president. Second, he said the facts of the investigation don’t justify an indictment.

Levin predicted that Mueller would “write a report” indicating that Trump was guilty of “obstruction of justice,” which would give Democrats the opportunity to impeach Trump if they win the House of Representatives in the 2018 midterm elections.

“He’s going to write a report one day which he knows, which (James) Comey knows, which (Chuck) Schumer knows — they’re all friends, those three, they’re all tight — to use as the basis for impeachment if they can win the House of Representatives,” Levin said.

Levin made it very clear at the time he didn’t believe there was a single shred of evidence that would prove Trump colluded with Russia, but said Mueller has the power to operate around.

“There’s absolutely no reason to have a special counsel, but it’s something the Democrats want and something the Republicans capitulated to. So now we have this roving prosecutor whose subject of investigation is whatever subject he decides to investigate, whatever matter he decides to investigate — it’s as broad as he chooses to make it.” Levin said.

Listen to his audio below:

“We now have a federal prosecutor, independent of every branch of the federal government, who has as his objective to take down the President of the United States,” Levin said.

“And he has quickly moved to hire the most left-wing Democrat fellow prosecutors he can with record of large contribution to left-wing Democrats — and they’re already leaking, they’re already leaking that they are focused on obstruction of justice charges against the President of the United States,” he added.

Looking back on Levin’s comments, he was exactly right.

After nearly a year of investigating Trump and dozens of his officials — while blowing through tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars — not a shred of evidence has been revealed to support the allegation.

With Mueller’s wide-ranging powers and Democrats desperate to seek revenge for their embarrassing election loss, they will do whatever it takes to impeach Trump — regardless of having zero evidence to do so.
