Isn’t the point of campus protests to generate as much press attention as possible?
That’s why it’s hard to understand why University of Missouri demonstrators were demanding news media exit the campus. Using a variation of an infamously overused chant, they shouted “hey hey, ho ho, reporters have got to go!”
An escalating series of protests over race relations at the system’s Columbia campus culminated in the resignation of its president, Tim Wolfe, earlier today.
